We are truly saddened to hear about the loss of your son's close friend who was tragically killed while jogging. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's comfort and peace during this difficult time.
Firstly, we need to address a concern. The request for prayer mentions the soul, which is fine. However, we pray to God in Jesus name. The Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. We need to pray to Jesus and God, not any separate part of a person.
Let's pray together,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family who has suffered a great loss. We pray for the deceased, that he was a believer in Jesus Christ. Lord, You know his heart and his relationship with You. We trust in Your mercy and goodness.
We also pray for the family he left behind—his wife and child, and his friends, especially the son of the one who submitted this request. Lord, surround them with Your comfort and peace. Guide them through their grief, and help them to cast their burdens on You.
We pray for the deceased's family and friends, because we are confident that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to take this time to reflect on the preciousness of life and the importance of salvation. The Bible tells us that it is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgment. Hebrews 9:27. We need to make sure that we are right with God, and that we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.
Lastly, if you are not saved, please pray. Lord, I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. I confess my sins to You and ask You to forgive me and to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. Then share your faith with others and get baptized.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
