We understand your concern as a parent, ###, and we join you in prayer for your daughter's employment. Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in the prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus declared, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We encourage both you and your daughter to trust the Lord Jesus in all things.

Let us remember together the promise of God. For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Amen. Jeremiah 29:11

We will pray, using the specific promise of God in Ephesians 3:20. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for ###'s daughter. Lord, we ask that You guide her steps and open the right doors for her employment. We pray that You will help her find a job where she can use her gifts and talents to serve You, serve others and be served.

Father we pray for you to put her in a new workplace where she can be a light for you, displaying qualities of honoring you and serving patients with integrity, kindness, respect, love, and patience. Lord, we ask that You grant her favor in the eyes of her potential employers and help obtain a job quickly. We ask you to help her be a testimony for You as men and women should be.

Lord we ask for your help to let her stand out as being different by being in the world but not like the world, not just getting a job and working just for money, but as a testimony of someone who is in the world but not like the world. Together help her to stand for you in our present evil society and culture, being different by being as you want her to be and living on the job as you want her to live. Together help her get a job because it would be your blessing to your honor and glory.

In the right job, together help to be able to be a blessing to others, to share their testimony, have influence, and to share her faith and share the Gospel. Together help her to show why she is different, that You are the one who is in charge and can make a difference to others through her employment.

Together, help her to be Christ-like on the job. Father together help her to be your representative on the job, your ambassador, and to stand for your values and principles. Together we come against anything that would hinder the plan you have for her.

We've been reflecting on Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. We trust that God will help her stand out, being in the world but not like the world, and that she would be able to share her faith and the Gospel with those around her.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
