Prayer for ###'s Custody Court

Please pray for my son ### and his family, there is animosity with his 2 children he is going to court for. Their mother is a very toxic woman and controlling. They have a date at court on ### and ### can benefit from all prayers for him to have God's favor in court. The mother has filed a lot of lies and tells the children very negative things. The children have always gotten along with his wife, and they show her a lot of love in the last ### years she entered into their lives. But now the mom has filed and continues to fill their heads with bad stuff and lies about her. They have been perfectly fine up till currently as they know the parents are going to court. They currently have a blessed family with ### and a great Godly life with him and his wife. They pray for peace with the kids as they should, but my prayer group adds more prayers! I don't wish the mother out of the picture but in these circumstances, I wish her time to be limited, very limited. I pray for her to change but nothing, if anything she gets worse. Please help with prayers, greatly appreciated them, love you all.

We understand your concern for your son and his family, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in God's justice and mercy.

Firstly, we encourage you to continue praying for all parties involved, including the mother of the children. As it is written:

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep. ... If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.

We must remember that God desires for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Pray for this woman to have a change of heart, to be convicted by the Holy Spirit, and to turn to God.

As for your son, we pray for God's favor and wisdom upon him and his wife as they navigate this difficult situation. We pray that the truth will be revealed in court and that the lies will be exposed. We ask God to grant them peace and strength during this trial.

We also pray for the children, that God would protect their hearts and minds from the negativity and lies, and that they would continue to love and respect their stepmother. We ask that God would grant them discernment and wisdom beyond their years. Remember:

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Finally, we pray that your son and his wife would continue to build a godly home, filled with love, peace, and the presence of God. We pray that they would be a testimony to the world of God's love and faithfulness.

Father, in Jesus' name, we lift up this family to You. We pray for Your will to be done in this situation, for Your truth to be revealed, and for Your love to be manifested. We pray for healing, restoration, and reconciliation, if it is Your will. We ask that You would turn this situation around for good, that Your name would be glorified, and that Your kingdom would be advanced. We pray all these in Jesus Christ's name and no other, for it is in His name alone we receive salvation.

Let us meditate upon the following scriptures:

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.

We're standing right beside you in this, dear friend. We've been lifting your son and his family up in prayer, asking God to grant them peace, wisdom, and strength as they navigate this difficult court case. We're trusting that God's justice will prevail and that His truth will be revealed.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
