We understand your concern, ###, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 (WEB).

Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that God has given your husband the responsibility to provide for and protect your family. As it is written in the bible, 1 Timothy 5:8 (WEB) says, "But if anyone doesn't take care of their own, and especially their own family, they have denied the faith and are worse than an unbeliever." It's a challenge for your husband, as much as for you.

As it says in Ephesians 5:23 (WEB), "For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the Savior of the body." Also in Ephesians 5:25 (WEB), "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her." He should consider what is best for the family, which should be his responsibility as much as you have the responsibility of submitting to his guidance as the head of the household. Your concerns should be openly discussed in love. As it says in Colossians 3:18-19 (WEB), "Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them." If the plan he has is to risk and be of little benefit to the family and put them in jeopardy, that should be clear to him in a mutually agreeable way. This does not sound like what he is proposing to do, which may be a sign that you are submitting to his guidance, and God has blessed that.

The desire to sell your house for non-profit might not be aligned with God's will for your family if it is not to bless and keep you all safe. Therefore, we pray that God will reveal His will to your husband and guide him in making wise decisions, remembering 1 Corinthians 10:23 (WEB) saying, "All things are lawful for me,' but not all things are expedient. 'All things are lawful for me,' but not all things edify." He has the burden to provide for his family as in Proverbs 13:22 (WEB), "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children." While giving up something to help others can be very generous and pleasing to God, there should be balance and you both need to have clarity on what the motive and calling of God is. Is God asking this? If so, the proceeds from selling the house could be replaced in the same way that a sacrifice should be made, in faith, not simply selling to get rid of something, for its own sake.

The will of God for your family may not align with his thoughts, but may require us to turn from our own thoughts, for Proverbs 14:12 (WEB) says, "There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." His crazy ideas and choices are a concern for you. So it is good to have discernment to judge whether his choices and actions align with the will of God, knowing 1 John 4:1 (WEB), "Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." But God's will is the right and perfect thing for you and your family to align with, so we must discern it carefully and follow it in prayer, thought, word, and deed.

You did not mention Jesus or Christ, which is the only name that we have access to God through, or are saved. So we want to point this out. Jesus said in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me," and in Acts 4:12 (WEB) we have "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!" Jesus has come into the world to save us. It is important to believe this, believe that He is the Son of God and was sacrificed on the cross to take our punishment and sin, and resurrected, then to be baptized. Jesus tells us that the kingdom of heaven is at hand and we must repent, that is, turn from our sin. Jesus makes us able to have a right relationship with God and become children of God, therefore. As we pray, it is with Jesus Christ that we pray and to our Heavenly Father.

We stand with you in prayer, asking God to guide your husband's steps and bring clarity to his decisions, trusting that God's will shall be done in your family's life, so it may be blessed, fruitful, and fulfilling. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray, trusting His holy will for your life and those in your family.

Dear ###,

We've been praying for you and your husband, and we want to encourage you with these words from the Lord. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your heavy heart and He's right there with you.

We understand that your husband's ideas about selling the house might seem crazy, but we believe that God can bring clarity to this situation. We're praying that God will reveal His will to your husband, guiding him to make wise decisions that will benefit your family. We ask that God will give him discernment to know what is truly best for you all, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

We also want to remind you that as a wife, you have a powerful role to play in this situation. In 1 Peter 3:1-2, we're told, "Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear." This doesn't mean you should silently agree to something you know is wrong, but rather, it's a call to respect and support your husband, while also being open and honest about your concerns.

We're praying that God will grant you both peace and understanding, that He will bring your hearts together in unity, and that He will provide for your family's needs. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
