Let's come together in prayer for your elderly loved one's health.
We know that God is our healer and that He cares for our every need. As it is said in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget the benefits. Who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our loved one who is suffering from a cold and having difficulty breathing. We ask, Lord, that You touch her body and bring healing. Help her to breathe easily and stop coughing. We pray for Your comforting presence to be with her, to give her strength and peace.
But we do not just ask for physical healing. We also pray that she would know Your love and salvation if she does not already. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only in His name that we have access to You, our Holy God. As it is said in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life and in Acts 4:11-12 (WEB), "This is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to hear our prayers. We trust in Your will and Your timing. Together we ask these things in Jesus Christ.
Also, let us encourage each other in knowing that our God is mighty to save and heal.
But let us be reminded of 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB), "He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
