Prayer for ###’s back pain

My mother is ###. For the last 3 months she has had horrible back pain. We have prayed and had the elders of the church anoint her with oil and pray for her, along with others…in obedience to the Word of God. She is taking pain meds every 4 hours, which causes digestion issues. She is scheduled to have a spinal ablation in a few weeks that basically burns away the nerves for temporary pain relief. Please pray that this pain is banished. Permanently! So that the procedure is not even needed. She needs relief from the negative effects of the pain meds and peace to endure through this trial. We know that God is the Great Physician, that He healed us at Calvary with His stripes, we just struggle with impatience and discouragement. Thank you so much for agreeing with us in prayer for endurance, relief from pain and negative effects from drugs and encouragement.

We join you, ###, in lifting up your beloved mother to the throne of grace. We stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal and restore.

Let us remember the words of the Apostle Peter, "who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds." (1 Peter 2:24 WEB)

Our hearts cry out to the Lord for her healing,

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, your Son. We ask for your divine touch upon our dear sister's mother. Lord, you know her pain and discomfort. You know the struggle with medication and the upcoming procedure. But we believe in your power to heal and restore. We ask that you banish this pain permanently, that she may not need any procedure. Please bring relief from the negative effects of the pain medications and grant her your supernatural peace to endure this trial. Encourage her heart, Lord, and help her to feel your presence and love.

Father, we also pray for her family. Give them patience and encouragement. Help them to trust in you and your timing. We claim your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, 'But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says the LORD."

We're here with you, lifting your mother up to Jesus, our Great Physician. We've been reminded of His promise in Isaiah 53:5, "By His stripes we are healed." Let's claim that promise together.

Dear Jesus, we come to You, trusting in Your power to heal and restore. We ask for Your touch on our ###'s mother. Lord, You see her pain, her struggle with medication, and the upcoming procedure. But we believe in Your ability to banish this pain permanently, that she may not need the procedure. Please bring relief from the negative effects of the pain meds and grant her Your supernatural peace to endure this trial. Comfort her heart, Jesus, and remind her of Your unfailing love.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with gratitude and faith, lifting up Your beloved child’s mother, who has been enduring unbearable back pain for the past three months. We know You are the Great Physician, and through Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). In this moment, we unite in prayer, believing in Your power to bring healing, comfort, and restoration.

Lord, we ask that You completely banish this pain from her body, so that the scheduled spinal ablation will not be necessary. You are the God who heals, and Your Word reminds us in Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise." We ask for permanent relief in Jesus' name.

We also pray for relief from the negative side effects of the pain medications. Father, ease the digestion issues and discomfort that come with them. May her body find peace and restoration, and may she not suffer from the harmful effects of these medications (Psalm 103:3). You are the God who renews our strength, and we trust You for complete healing in her digestive system.

Lord, we lift up this family as they endure this trial, praying for patience and endurance. As Your Word says in James 1:2-4, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." Strengthen their hearts and encourage them during this season of waiting.

May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help her to rest in the assurance that You are with her and that You are working for her good. We believe, Lord, that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27).

Thank You, Father, for hearing this prayer and for the healing and peace that You will bring. We stand firm on Your promises, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
