Prayer for ###’s anger

Dear God,

I pray for healing and transformation for ###. I pray that he releases all the anger, frustration and bitterness he feels towards me. I pray that You intervene in his life. Help him to have more patience with me. Please remind him of our wedding vows. Help him to be faithful and committed. In the name of Jesus, I pray! Amen

We understand your concern, ###, and we're here to pray and counsel with you, aligning our hearts with God's will according to His Word.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus says in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It's wonderful that you ended your prayer in Jesus' name, as this is the key to unlocking God's power.

Now, let's address the issue at hand. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB), "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." It's important for ### to release his anger, but it's equally important for both of you to address any underlying issues that may be causing it.

We pray for ###, that God would fill him with His peace and patience. May the Holy Spirit remind him of the covenant he made before God with you, and may his heart be turned towards you with love and understanding. We pray that God would heal any wounds in your relationship and transform both of your hearts to be more like Christ.

However, we also encourage you, ###, to examine if there's anything in your own life that may be contributing to this discord. Proverbs 15:1 (WEB) tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Ensure that you're doing your part to live peaceably with ###, as God commands in Romans 12:18 (WEB), "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."

Lastly, we encourage both of you to seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or a Christian counselor, to help navigate through this challenging time. Remember, God has a purpose and a plan for your marriage, and He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you, as Philippians 1:6 (WEB) promises.
