We join with you in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for His divine protection over all those traveling on the roads this Easter weekend. We stand in agreement with you, sprinkling the blood of Jesus over the roads, and declaring His hedge of protection around each traveler, their homes, and churches. "For nothing will be impossible with God." Luke 1:37 (WEB). God is always faithful and just to answer our prayers.
We pray for safety and trust in God alone, for He is the ultimate protector. "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in man." Psalm 118:8 (WEB). We ask God to deal with the issue of corruption and bribery, even among traffic officers. "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." 2 Timothy 6:10 (WEB)
We intercede for our leaders, asking God to change their hearts and fill them with His love. We pray that He grants them the wisdom and integrity needed to lead with righteousness and justice. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6 (WEB)
We remember that it is because of the prayers of the saints that leaders are in power, and we ask God to raise up godly leaders who will serve His purposes. "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB)
With you we pray for our country, asking God to pour out His Spirit of unity and love upon all its citizens. "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35 (WEB)
Finally, we stand in agreement with you, proclaiming the mighty name of Jesus over our country, knowing that there is power in His name to bring unity, love, and transformation. "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:9-11 (WEB)
Thank you for your faithful intercession. We must not grow weary in well doing. Galatians 6:9 (WEB)
