Prayer For Restored Relationship With Ex-Girlfriend
I come to you all asking that you would join me in praying that God would restore my relationship with my ex-girlfriend. I truly believe that God brought us together, and we both received confirmation from God during our relationship that we are meant to be together. I also believe that I have received further confirmation from Him even after our breaking up that it is His will for us to be together. We both still love each other and care about each other greatly.
The Holy Spirit has guided me into putting this entire relationship into His hands, to let go of control and to trust in His plan. Right now, the biggest things I am praying for is for God to heal all the hurt and pain she has and that He would draw her closer to Himself. I am also praying for her protection against the enemy and the forces of darkness that have opposed themselves against her. She has expressed to me that her relationship with God is not good at this moment; I pray that God would open her heart to fully receiving His love and care and grace. I also want to pray against the negative influences in her life, and all those who are being used by the enemy to draw her away from God and keeping her from healing and being restored to her wholeness in Christ. And I also pray that God would bring us back together.
I also pray that God would continue to speak to me His will for my life and guide me in the way that He wants me to go. If I have misheard or misunderstood what He has spoken, or if I have deceived myself, I pray that God would make it clear to me that I am mistaken. But, as it is, I feel led by His Spirit to have faith in what I believe He has spoken to me, to trust His plan for my life, and to believe that it is Godβs desire to answer my prayer given to Him in faith. I also pray that God would increase my faith in prayer. I have put all of this into Godβs hands. I am no longer in contact with her as of now, and I will continue to wait until, if the Lord wills it, she reaches out to me. Thank you.
