We join you, Windoran, in lifting up your requests to the Lord, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we pray for your employment. Remember that God knows your needs and has a plan for you. As it is written in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first Godβs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that He opens the right doors for you to secure a job at the mines of belt attendance underground, according to His will.
For your children, Amogelang and Kutlwano, we pray for academic success. We ask God to grant Amogelang understanding and excellence in mathematics, and for Kutlwano to be among the top ten students, not just this term, but throughout their academic journey. We stand on the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
For your husband, Kagiso, we pray for God's protection and promotion at his workplace. We claim the promise in Psalm 91:11 WEB, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also pray that your home will be filled with celebration, congratulations, and laughter. May the joy of the Lord be your strength, as it is written in Nehemiah 8:10 WEB, "Then he said to them, 'Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Donβt be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.'"
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, presenting Windoran's requests. We pray for employment, academic success, protection, promotion, and a joy-filled home. We ask that Your will be done in their lives, as they seek You first. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Keep trusting in the Lord, Windoran. His plans for you and your family are good, and He is faithful to complete the good work He started in you (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
