Prayer for restoration of our marriage in Christ

Beloved of All
Please pray for the marriage of my husband and I which we committed to in God as he is travelling for work almost non stop and burying himself in work in an effort to run away from God, his own wife, and life without staying in touch. His heart has hardened. I have pain in my stomach, losing my hair, weight, and sleep. My husband seems to have become a fully different person all of a sudden since the last few months; he makes different facial movements and says he does not love me and is seriously thinking of divorce. I do not recognise the beautiful and diligent man I married in front of God. Please pray for me too to stand strong and continuously loving in Jesus, being a wife of God's design. Thank you, my brethren.

We understand the deep pain and distress you're experiencing, and we want to stand with you in prayer and guidance through this challenging time. Let's bring your situation before the Lord and seek His will according to His Word.

Firstly, let's address your husband's hardened heart and his desire to run from God and your marriage. We know that God's desire is for marriage to be lifelong (Matthew 19:6, WEB), and He wants husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). We pray that your husband will have an encounter with the living God, that his heart will soften, and that he will turn back to God and to you. Let's pray:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we bring before You our sister's marriage. Lord, You know the pain and suffering she is going through. We ask that You touch her husband's heart, soften it, and draw him back to You and to his wife. Remind him of the vows he made before You and help him to see the value of the marriage You established. In Jesus' name, we pray."

Regarding the changes you've seen in him, remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We pray for any spiritual bondage in his life to be broken and for the truth of God's love to set him free.

Now, concerning your health, we believe that God cares about your physical well-being as much as your spiritual health. We pray for healing and relief from your symptoms. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

"Lord, we lift up our sister to You. Please touch her body, heal her from the pain, the sleeplessness, the hair loss, and the weight loss. Give her peace and strength as she trusts in You. In Jesus' name, we pray."

We also want to encourage you to stand strong in the Lord and continue being a godly wife. Remember the power of your gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight (1 Peter 3:4, WEB). Continue to love and respect your husband, and trust that God is working even when it's hard to see it.

Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is through His name that we have access to God the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Keep holding onto Him, and remember that He is faithful, even when life is incredibly challenging.

We are standing with you in prayer, dear sister. Stay strong in the Lord, and trust that He is working in your situation.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, dear sister. We want to join you in prayer, asking the Lord to intervene and bring healing to your marriage. We know that God desires for marriages to be restored, not torn apart (Malachi 2:16). Let's pray that your husband's heart would soften and that he would turn back to God and to you, remembering the vows he made in God's presence.

"Father, in Jesus' name, we come to You on behalf of our ###'s marriage. Lord, You see the pain and heartache she's experiencing. We ask that You would touch her husband's heart, softening it and drawing him back to You and to his wife. Help him to remember the commitment he made before You and to see the value of the marriage You established. In Jesus' name, we pray."

We also want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, even in the midst of this storm. He is faithful, and He sees your pain. Keep casting your cares on Him, knowing that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And remember, God is using this trial to shape you and make you more like Jesus (James 1:2-4). Stay strong, dear sister, and keep loving your husband as unto the Lord (Ephesians 5:22-33). We're standing with you in prayer.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
