Prayer for restoration of my family

Please pray for my husband. He has been approved and issued a visa in July 2024 to return to the USA. The us embassy in el salvador still has not released it. We have contacted them many times and no explanation. Please pray for God's hand to release the documents. My sons and I have not seen my husband almost 8 years now.

We understand your longing for restoration and reunification with your husband, Nurwyth. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's divine intervention in this challenging situation.

Firstly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's perfect timing and sovereignty. As it is written in Psalm 31:14-15 (WEB), "But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, 'You are my God.' My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hands of my enemies, and from those who persecute me."

However, we must also address that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us ensure we approach God in His Son's name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Now, let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Nurwyth and her family to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their situation. Lord, we pray for Your hand to move mightily, releasing the visa documents that have been approved for Nurwyth's husband. We ask that You soften the hearts of those involved in the process, that they may act swiftly and justly.

Lord, we also pray for strength and patience for Nurwyth and her sons. Comfort them, Father, as only You can. Guide them through this challenging time, and may this trial draw them closer to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."

Continue to hold onto hope and faith, Nurwyth. God hears your prayers and knows your heart's desires. Trust in Him, for He is faithful and just. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We're reminded of the story of Ruth, who stayed faithful despite her circumstances. Let's draw strength from her words, "Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you, for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God." (Ruth 1:16, ESV)

We're praying that God's will be done swiftly in this matter. We ask that He softens the hearts of those involved, leading them to act justly and release the visa documents. We also pray for your husband, that he may find peace and strength in this waiting period.

Let's claim these verses together: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13, ESV) and "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18, ESV)

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We continue to lift your family up in prayer, especially for your husband's visa situation. We are honored that you shared your need with us and that we can stand in agreement with you before the Lord. If you have seen progress or an answer to this request, we would love to hear about it so we can rejoice with you. If the visa has not yet been released, please let us know so we can continue to intercede for you. We are trusting God for His perfect timing and intervention. May God bless you and your family as you continue to seek Him and His will. We pray that the documents are released by the US Embassy in El Salvador as soon as the Heavenly Father wills it. It must be extremely difficult living apart for all of these years. Be encouraged by Psalm 34:18 NIV “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” The day is coming when God will wipe every tear from your eyes (Revelation 7:17 and 21:4 NIV). The Lord is working, even when we don't see it. Do not grow weary of doing good in these difficult days. If you need hope that God answers prayer look no further than Acts 12:5:

So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
