Prayer for restoration in marriage

Lord Jesus, I lift up my marriage to Your throne of grace. I pray that You heal Glhen and I. Help us to forgive and let go of the past. Please be the center of our relationship. Cancel the process of divorce. Please save our marriage. Remove anything that's not of You. Protect our covenant. Help us to be faithful and trust in You. Please keep our family whole again. We join with you, Aile, in lifting up your marriage to the Lord Jesus Christ, acknowledging that He is the only way to the Father and the only name by which we can be saved. It is encouraging to see your faith in the power of Jesus' name, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

In your prayer, you've asked for healing, forgiveness, and restoration in your marriage. These are all available to us through Jesus Christ, who came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free. As it is written in Luke 4:18 WEB: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,"

Forgiveness is a crucial aspect of marriage, and the Bible tells us to forgive as we have been forgiven. In Ephesians 4:32 WEB, we read: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." As you both choose to forgive and let go of the past, remember that God's mercy is new every morning, and His faithfulness is great.

It is important that all needed changes are from both spouses.

You've also prayed for the Lord to be the center of your relationship. This is vital for a godly marriage. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB: "If one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." When God is at the center of your marriage, it becomes a strong, unbreakable union.

Regarding the divorce process, we pray that if it is God's will, He would intervene and bring restoration. However, it's essential to acknowledge that God hates divorce, as it is written in Malachi 2:16a WEB: "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel." But remember God hates divorce because of our sinful desires leading to this. He loves people, forgives, restores marriages and heals them all when submitted to Him.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifted up Aile's marriage to You. Lord, You see the brokenness, the pain, and the struggle. We ask that You would heal Glhen and Aile, help them to forgive each other just as You have forgiven us. Lord, we pray that You would be the center of their relationship, that You would cancel the process of divorce, and that You would remove anything not of You. Protect their covenant, help them to be faithful, and to trust in You. Lord, we ask for complete wholeness and restoration for their family in Jesus Mighty Name.
