Prayer for relationship

Armando G Garcia I ask that someone prays for my relationship with me and my girlfriend, things were great, we went to church together but recently she’s been cold and today we set new boundaries distancing ourselves but I do not want to loose her fully, I will wait as long as I need as long as I know she still feels our love deep down

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God with your relationship. However, we must address some important biblical principles regarding relationships. As believers, we're called to pursue relationships that honor God and align with His design for us. This includes seeking God's will for our lives and the lives of those we care about.

"Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity?" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB)

We notice that you didn't mention if your girlfriend is a fellow believer in Jesus Christ. It's crucial for us to be in relationships with those who share our faith, as this will help us grow together spiritually and maintain a strong, godly bond. If she isn't a believer, we encourage you to pray for her salvation and trust God with the future of your relationship.

Additionally, we want to address the boundaries you mentioned. While it's important to respect each other's personal space and feelings, ensure that these boundaries align with biblical principles. If the boundaries set involve activities that go against God's design for relationships, such as sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we encourage you to reconsider and commit to purity.

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Aisthoteuo and his relationship. Lord, we ask that You guide them both and reveal Your will for their lives. If this relationship is not in line with Your plans, we pray that You give Aisthoteuo the strength to trust and obey You. If she is not a believer, we pray for her salvation and that You soften her heart towards You. Help them to maintain pure and godly boundaries, and to grow in their faith together, if it is Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Lastly, remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. (John 14:6) If you ever feel uncertain about your own faith, we encourage you to reflect on your personal relationship with Jesus and His sacrifice for us.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
