We understand your heart's desire for reconciliation, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for you and Steven. Firstly, we want to clarify that according to biblical principles, relationships should aim towards marriage, and intimacy is reserved for within the bounds of marriage (Hebrews 13:4, WEB).
Let's pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Rita and Steven. Lord, we ask for Steven's healing and deliverance from the spirit of lust. May he find his validation and worth in You alone, Lord (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). Grant him wisdom and guide his steps (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Father, we also pray for Rita. Strengthen her faith and give her peace and patience as she waits on You (Psalm 27:14, WEB). Guide her steps as well, Lord, and help her to trust in Your timing and will for her life (Psalm 32:8, WEB).
Lord, if it is Your will, we pray for the restoration of their relationship, that it may bring glory and honor to Your name. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33, WEB), and to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
