We understand your concern for REI and we will join you in prayer, seeking God's will for her life. Let us first address the issue of praying in the name of Jesus. It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). So, we will lift up REI in prayer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Regarding REI's situation, we must remember that God calls us to be content in all circumstances (Philippians 4:11-13, WEB). The gift of singleness is indeed a blessing from God for some, as it allows them to serve Him wholeheartedly (1 Corinthians 7:7, WEB). However, we must also remember that God created us for relationship, and if it is His will, He may prepare REI for a godly marriage in the future.
Let us address the concerns raised about REI. Self-centeredness, the love of money, exploitation, lack of commitment, and emotional baggage are all issues that need to be surrendered to God. These behaviors are not in line with God's will for our lives. As it is written in 1 Timothy 6:10 (WEB), "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
Moreover, sexual desires outside of marriage are not God's design for us. We are called to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). If REI is involved in any such relationships, we pray that Jesus will give her the strength to break free and live in purity.
Let us pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We lift up REI to You, asking that You bless her with contentment and peace in her singleness. Help her to surrender her self-centeredness, love of money, and any ungodly relationships to You. Heal her from her emotional baggage and help her to walk in Your ways. Remove any sexual desires that are not in line with Your will and help her to live in purity. If it is Your will, prepare her for a godly marriage in the future. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
Let us encourage REI to seek God's will for her life, to surrender her struggles to Him, and to trust in His plan for her future. May she find peace and contentment in Jesus' name.
