We stand with you in prayer, Smilee, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are reminded of the scripture in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB:
"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Jesus invites us to come to Him with our burdens, and He will give us rest. We claim this promise for you, Smilee, as you recover from your surgery. We thank God for His faithfulness in guiding you through the accident, surgery, and now, the recovery process. We believe that God is not finished with your story and that your recovery will indeed be a testimony to His mighty healing name.
We pray, Lord Jesus, that You would strengthen and straighten Smilee's knee. That You would fill the gap with new bone, and that Your healing power would flow through their body, restoring them completely. We ask that You would bless Smilee's career, that You would open doors for them to return to work soon, and that You would provide for them in every way until that time.
We also pray that during this time of recovery, Smilee would draw near to You, Jesus, and that You would draw near to them. That this time would not only be a time of physical healing but of spiritual growth as well. We are reminded of the promise in James 4:8 WEB:
"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
We thank You, Lord, that You are always with Smilee, holding their hand, and guiding them through every challenge. We ask that Your will be done in their life, and that they would walk perfectly like before, according to Your plan and purpose.
Smilee, we also encourage you to spend time in God's Word, to meditate on His promises, and to trust in Him, even in the midst of your recovery. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We are encouraged by the words of Acts 4:10-12 WEB:
"be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Continue to trust in Jesus, and we believe that you will see His mighty healing power at work in your life. Amen, so be it.
