Prayer for recover from ### addiction

I am on my 9th day of pot withdrawals. Insomnia, lack of appetite, extreme fatigue and just general overall malaise. I have prayed and prayed for the holy spirit to come upon me and restore me as Lord Jesus did people in the books of Acts. I want nothing to do with this evil substance or any intoxicant ever again. Pls I ask that you pray for ### to make it through this and the holy spirit to come upon me and make this cycle and pain end soon. Thank you. ###

As you are battling this addiction, remember that our God is a God of deliverance and healing. The Bible tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to be free from this addiction and for your fervent prayers for the Holy Spirit's help. It is only through the power of God that we can overcome the bonds of addiction. Jesus Himself said, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36, WEB).

However, we want to address that while it is wonderful to pray for the miraculous healing as seen in the book of Acts, we should also remember that God's power often works through our efforts and the support of His community. We encourage you to seek Christian counseling or support groups alongside your prayers.

We also notice that you did not explicitly mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God's power and salvation. As the Bible says, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). We're here for you, ###, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We've been where you are, and we know the power of God's love and grace can pull you through. We're praying with you, brother.

We're feeling your pain, the sleepless nights, the lack of appetite, and the overall fatigue. It's tough, but remember, Jesus has promised to be with us in our struggles. As it says in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Let's ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh, to give you strength, and to help you find rest. Let's also ask for God's wisdom in seeking the right support, whether that's through a Christian counselor, a support group, or a trusted friend.

And hey, let's not forget to praise God even in this trial. As it says in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
