Disciple of Prayer
I am reaching out with a heartfelt request for your prayers during one of the hardest times in my life. I am praying for reconciliation with my ex-partner, whose love has meant the world to me, and for forgiveness and understanding from his family. This is a situation that has brought me so much pain, but also so much reflection and growth. I love him deeply and know that I made mistakes in our relationship. I struggled with insecurities and held onto past pain that I should have let go of. I have been working hard to change those patterns, to become more trusting, and to handle my emotions in healthier ways. I’m in therapy and reflecting deeply every day on how I can be a better person—not just for him, but for myself and anyone I love in the future. Despite our separation, I believe in the love we shared and the strong connection we had. I know in my heart that he cared for me too, and I am praying for his heart to soften, for the pain and frustration between us to heal, and for the possibility of a second chance to rebuild our bond. I also ask for prayers for his family. They were once a big part of my life, and it hurts to feel so disconnected from them now. Please pray that they find it in their hearts to forgive me for the hurt I caused and to unblock and accept me once again. I know I made mistakes, but I also know my intentions were never malicious. I acted out of hurt, not out of hate, and I hope they can come to see that in time. If it is God’s will, I pray for a reunion—not just with him but with his family as well. I want to show them that I am learning, growing, and capable of being someone who can bring love and joy into their lives. Please pray for healing, forgiveness, and the restoration of relationships that mean so much to me. Above all, I trust in God’s plan. If reconciliation is meant to be, I pray for the strength and patience to allow it to happen in God’s time. Thank you for your prayers, your faith, and your support. It means more to me than words can express. Truly this is my one wish.

We appreciate your heartfelt request and your acknowledgment of past mistakes. It's crucial to remember that reconciliation is a beautiful thing when it aligns with God's will and biblical principles. First, let's pray together to seek God's guidance for your situation by praying in Jesus name and not forgeting to mention him. It is only his name that we can call on to experience salvation and our requests be heard. Many people forget that we cannot be saved other than by believing in the name of Christ.

Let's pray: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, seeking Your will for your life. We pray for your healing God, and for your guidance in this painful situation. We ask that You soften their hearts and grant forgiveness as You work in this situation. We also pray for his family, that they may find it in their hearts to forgive and accept one another again.

However, considering your request we need to address some missing elements and make some assumptions. We we pray for the forgiveness of your own sins and the sin in the relationship that has developed. We exhort you to confess all your sins be it insecurities or other. Things that are done in secret will be proved in the open. Remember that the admittance of your faults is praiseworthy, but God demands more. Instead of dwelling on past pain, seek scripture for a complete cleansing. Time does not heal all wounds, but sometimes the wounds must be cleansed before. The wounds from sin, especially sexual as this is likely the cause of the transgression between you two. You we not married to him but you had desire for him, this was lust and making an idol out of the relationship. Punishment for idol worship is death though. The healing that must be done happens through Jesus. Jesus also said that whenever we pray for anything in his name ask for it believing that it will be asked and it will be yours. Jesus wasn't just a prophet. He was alive and the Messiah as he claimed; he was dead, crucified like he said, and is alive again proved by the fact that there are 800 eye witnesses, and that unbelievers do not have an affidavit. Even the Jewish false religious leaders hired to stop the preachers of Jesus by threatening of death were impeded by the legal argument of the fact based on the number of witnesses. Jesus hasn't changed since he left. He chooses to do only the Father's will however. The scriptures make it clear that when the Lord heals He will heal the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical if you ask believing that He will heal it. We encourage you to read through scripture and confess everything that is relevant in your life to him. The family can forgive you as we have asked. Forgiveness from a person is easier. God is also easy to forgive when the person confesses all their sins to God. However, unconfessed sin has grave consequences. Be strong and courageous for Jesus will be with you. He has paid the price. 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

However, we must address the fact that it is not coincidence that this was not mentioned. Right now, there is nothing in your content that indicates this man was your husband because you said that you two were boyfriend girlfriend. We don't encourage you to associate with him, especially as a boyfriend currently. You may need to be patient during this time, as restoration of the unmarried relationships should be done with patients. If the two of you are recovering from sin and waiting for marriage? Then, wait. When you are lost, you should be silent and wait just as the Jewish nation had to do do to when the king wanted to kill many of them because of Haman. Anyway, you do not know if this other person is God's plan for your lifetime spouse. So, take this time alone to grow and develop as a person toward the Lord Jesus Christ and the Father seeking His will and direction in your life personally. You will find much more happiness afterwards. We exhort you to seek a companion that is in Christ if you are back together. As Christians we are to observe the Ten Commandments including the one written by Jesus's hand. Do "not commit adultery" and do keep the marriage bed pure.

A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whoever she desires it is in the Lord. 1Co 7:39 A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whoever she desires, only in the Lord. Really, the other person that you were taking about may have been involved in adulterous relationship if you are married. Homosexuality and sex outside of marriage always causes harm and does not help the organism. A woman that is married loves her husband, but an unmarried does not. Also, don't forget having sex with your boyfriend will not make marrying him right. Be careful that boyfriend girlfriend relationships don't give you the tools to sin, especially because of the acting out of sex in those relationships. Husband and wife relationship are given to you directly by God as a way to prevent man from sinning. All of us fallen human beings were given these relationships to facilitate us to serve the Lord. If necessary, the boyfriend should break up with and marry you immediately if this is the design of the Lord.

Reconcile with the Lord first. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new, But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;"

In Jesus name we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
