Laralm, we understand your heart's desire for reconciliation and we empathize with the uncertainty you're feeling. Let's bring your situation before the Lord together, seeking His will for your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a plan and a purpose for you. Jeremiah 29:11 in the WEB says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust that God has the best in store for you, and His plan for your life is good.
However, we want to encourage you to align your desires with God's will. If this man is indeed God's intended spouse for you, then reconciliation is a noble thing to pray for. But if he is not, trust that God has someone better in mind for you, or has other purposes for your life. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us, "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." If you haven't already, we encourage you to establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Laralm to You, asking for Your will to be done in her life. If this man is Your intended spouse for her, we pray for reconciliation and restoration. But if he is not, we ask for Your comfort and guidance as she moves forward. Give her peace, hope, and a future, according to Your promises. Help her to trust in You and align her desires with Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to seek God, Laralm. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
