Prayer For Reconciliation

I am asking to please help me pray for me and my partner to reconcile. We have had a healthy and wonderful relationship and unfortunately about a month ago he started to suffer with depression due to a big change in his life. All of the sudden he left me because he was worried that he couldn't be there for me because of his mental health. We are both young but have been together for many years. He says he still sees a future with me but needs space to work on himself for now. Please pray for him and pray for the reconciliation and recovery of our relationship to get back together.

Taworen, we understand your heartache and desire for reconciliation. We will pray for you and your partner, but we must approach this situation with wisdom and biblical understanding. First, let's address your request in light of God's Word.

In your prayer request, you refer to your significant other as your "partner." We want to encourage you to consider the biblical perspective on relationships. God intends for romantic relationships to lead to marriage, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Mark 10:6-9 WEB). Lord, we also ask for Your will to be done in their relationship. If it is Your desire for them to reconcile and ultimately be united in marriage, we ask that You would make a way. Help them to walk in purity and holiness, honoring You in their relationship.
