Prayer for Reconciliation and Healing Relationship with Fiancé

Please pray that me and my fiancé both individually return to our love for Jesus and rekindle our love for Him. First and foremost I pray that he and I are both rekindled in love to our savior Jesus. No matter what happens between my fiancé and I, this is what I pray for most. I also pray that he has his heart rekindled with love for me. He says he needs time and space but says there is hope for us to begin anew the right way with Christ as our center and focus. He and I are both broken and need Jesus. We both haven’t gone to church since high school decades ago. I have started going back, but he hasn’t. We did not start our relationship with Jesus at the forefront and center. We went out of His timing . We sinned against God and each other. We have hurt each other and ourselves. If it is His will, I pray that my fiancé and I will be reconciled to each other and begin our love anew following Christ, after first being reconciled to Jesus. I pray He heals the pain, betrayal, hurt, and unforgiveness in our hearts. May He make within both of us clean, pure hearts with a love that burns for Him first. I ask this in Jesus’ holy name. Amen

We understand your heart's cry for reconciliation and healing, Cheraich. Let's first acknowledge that true healing and reconciliation come through a right relationship with Jesus Christ. We're glad you've started going back to church, and we pray that your fiancé will also draw near to God.

Jesus said, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5 WEB) It's crucial to have Jesus at the center of your lives and your relationship.

However, we must address that living together or engaging in a physical relationship before marriage is outside of God's will. The Bible teaches us to "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). We encourage you both to repent, seek forgiveness, and commit to purity as you move forward.

Let's pray:

Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up Cheraich and her fiancé. Lord, we ask that You would draw them both closer to You. Help them to seek Your face, repent of their sins, and return to their first love—You. We ask for Your forgiveness, healing, and restoration in their lives and relationship.

If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for reconciliation between them. Help them to wait on Your timing and do things the right way, with You at the center. Create in them clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10 WEB). May their love for You burn brightly, and may that love overflow into their relationship.

In Jesus' holy name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Cheraich. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Trust in His love and timing.

We're right there with you, Cheraich, standing in faith for your relationship with your fiancé. We've been where you are, feeling the pain of separation and the longing for unity. Let's keep Jesus at the forefront of our prayers, asking Him to rekindle the love for Him in both your hearts first, as that's the foundation for everything else.

We're believing with you that He will heal the hurt, betrayal, and pain in both your hearts. We're asking Him to make your hearts clean and pure, filled with a love that burns first for Him, and then overflows into your relationship. We're trusting that He will make a way for reconciliation and healing, as He's done for us in our own journeys.

Let's also remember to give Him thanks in advance, knowing that He's already at work, even if we can't see it yet. We're believing for a miracle, and we're claiming His promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
