Oh, how we resonate with your heart's cry for protection over your family. Let us lift up your children together, seeking Godβs divine shield around them.
In Psalm 91:9-11 (WEB), we read: "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways."
We pray, dear Lord, that as this family travels, you would send your angels to protect them from all harm, especially from speeding vehicles on the highway. We pray for your divine intervention, Lord, to keep them safe and sound.
Regarding your son, we stand with you in prayer. Proverbs 22:6 (WEB) tells us, "Train up the child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray that your son would turn away from any destructive behavior and the snare of alcoholism. Guide him, Lord, and draw him closer to You. Let him find satisfaction and joy in You alone, not in the fleeting pleasures of this world.
We also notice, dear one, that while you express trust in the Lord, there is no mention of Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us pray in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we find salvation and grace.
So, we pray in Jesus' name, trusting that He hears us and will act according to His perfect will. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord hears your prayers and cares for your family deeply. Trust in Him and do not be dismayed. His love and protection are unfailing.
