We join you, Aile, in lifting up your marriage, Glen, and your family before the throne of God. It is beautiful to see your hearts turned towards the Lord in prayer, and we stand with you in agreement.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" It is indeed God who is our protector and our strong tower.
However, we must also remember that God's protection often comes through our obedience to His Word. In Ephesians 6:10-11, it is written, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Therefore, we encourage you both, Aile and Glen, to walk in God's ways, to pursue righteousness, and to put on the full armor of God daily.
We pray this for you:
"Father, we come before You, lifting up Aile, Glen, and their family. We ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection, guarding them from any harm or discord. Fill their home with Your peace and love, and help them to walk in Your ways. Lord, we pray that You would give them the strength to put on the full armor of God daily, to stand against the wiles of the devil, and to live in obedience to Your Word. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."
We also encourage you, Aile and Glen, to continue praying together as a couple and a family. There is power in united prayer, and it is a key part of maintaining a strong, godly marriage. As it is written in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
