Lord, we know that some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will trust in the name of Yahweh our God. We declare Your promise in Psalm 5:11-12, But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. For you will bless the righteous. Lord, You will surround them with your favor as with a shield.
We ask that You change their father's heart, Lord, and turn him away from these evil thoughts. We pray that he would come to know the love and forgiveness found only in Jesus Christ, the same love and forgiveness that we can all experience and can transform lives. Lord, you can change the heart of a King in a night as you did in Daniel 4:34.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of violence or harm and command it to be gone. We pray for peace and a resolution that only You can bring, Lord. We ask for wisdom and guidance for them and a quick understanding of the gospel if they do not already. We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

Thank you so much, I always pray to God for protection, I pray Psalm 91, and Psalm 23, yesterday I did my devotional 3rd day cuz I recently got started. I trust in the Lord with all my heart, He will never leave me nor forsake me and He will deliver me from evil men. The Lord is my refuge and my fortress my God whom I trust.
