We understand your concern for your loved one and we stand with you in prayer. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
We must remember that Jesus has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19, WEB). When we resist the devil, he will flee from us (James 4:7, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our loved one who is experiencing demonic oppression at night. We stand on Your Word that says, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you" (Luke 10:19, WEB).
We rebuke this demonic entity and command it to go in Jesus' holy name. We proclaim that no weapon forged against our loved one will prevail (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and we cover them with the blood of Jesus, which is their protection.
Father, we ask that You surround our loved one with Your angels to protect them as they sleep (Psalm 91:11, WEB). Grant them peaceful nights and sweet sleep (Psalm 127:2, WEB). Help them to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in Your unfailing love.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue to stand firm in your faith, to resist the devil, and to draw near to God (James 4:7-8, WEB). Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18, WEB), and trust in His unfailing love and protection. Be aware of any foothold (Ephesians 4:27, WEB) that might be allowing this oppression. Consider if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness.
