Prayer for protection for someone I love

Dear god please protect my friend and send him a guardian angel during the next few days. Thank you to protect us the last few days. And I have no doubt you will continue to protect us. I'm eternally grateful for this second chance and I will do my best to make use of this time wisely as long as I breathe.

Thank you for your prayer request, Anonymous. We join you in praying for your friend's protection, and we're grateful for the opportunity to intercede together in Jesus' name.

Firstly, let's remember that God promises His protection and guidance when we abide in Him. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-2 (WEB), "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

We also want to gently remind you that, as believers, we should pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as He is the mediator between God and man. As it is said in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" So, let's direct our prayers to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection upon our beloved friend. We plead the blood of Jesus over him and ask that You surround him with Your angels, to guard and keep him safe from all harm and danger. We claim Your promises in Psalm 91, that no evil will befall him, nor will any plague come near his dwelling.

Lord, we thank You for the second chance You've given us. Help us to use our time wisely, to live for Your glory, and to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. Help us to be a good influence on our friend, that he too may come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, if he doesn't already.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to trust in the Lord, Anonymous, and don't forget to share the love of Christ with your friend. As it is said in 1 Peter 3:15 (WEB), "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear."
