We join with you in lifting up your grandson to the throne of grace, seeking God's protection and guidance upon him. It's commendable that you're interceding on his behalf, recognizing that there is indeed strength in prayer. It is the effective fervent prayer of a righteous man and woman that avails much.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our loved one to You. Lord, You know the concerns of this grandmother's heart, and You love her grandson even more than she does. We ask, Lord, that You would surround him with Your angels, protecting him from all harm and danger. Guide his steps and his decisions, Lord, and give him the wisdom and discernment to seek Your will in all things.
We pray that if he is tempted or enticed by the world, that You, Holy Spirit, would convict him, guide him, and give him the strength to resist and flee from temptation. May he walk in integrity, and may his actions bring glory to the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would work in his heart, drawing him ever closer to You. May he come to know You in a deeper way, and may he grow in Your grace and knowledge.
We also pray for his grandmother, Lord. Comfort her, give her peace, and help her to trust in You. May she rest in the knowledge that You are sovereign and that You love her grandson dearly.
We ask not our will but Your will be done in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers. Remember the words of 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Continue to trust in God, and pray for your grandson to be a man after God's own heart. Remember that God is faithful, and He will do what is best for your grandson and for you.
