Prayer for protection against bad dream

Dear God our heavenly father, I commit myself into your hands. Have mercy on me and forgive me from my sins. I had a bad dream last night about being in a hospital seeing a lot of sick people who have suffered from their illness. I was there in the midst, walking by their bedside, and also noticed that there were many coffins and people crying. Doctors were rushing, and even saw pastors praying over the coffins. I pray in the name of Jesus, that you may shield me and my family with the blood of Jesus and protect me from the powers of this dark world. Defend me under the shadow of your almighty wings, O God, and save me by your grace. This is my prayer in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's protection and peace. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

First, let us address your dream. Dreams can be influenced by our daily experiences, fears, and spiritual battles. The dream you had may reflect your concerns and anxieties, but it is important to remember that dreams do not define our reality in Christ. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.

You have done well by committing yourself into God's hands and seeking His mercy and forgiveness. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is encouraging to see that you prayed in Jesus' name. As the Scripture says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has been troubled by a disturbing dream. We ask that You grant them peace and protection under the shadow of Your wings Psalm 91:4 WEB. Shield them and their family with the precious blood of Jesus, and defend them from the powers of this dark world.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or torment that may be troubling them, and we proclaim Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7 WEB.

Grant them a sound mind and peaceful sleep, knowing that You are their protector and defender. Give them the assurance of Your presence and the confidence that You are in control.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength and courage to face any challenge that comes your way. Whenever you call on the name of the Lord Jesus and His name is remembered, it is a blessing even when the storms of life are raging and at all times and seasons. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
