We understand your distress and are here to lift you up in prayer and guidance. Let's first align our hearts with God's will and seek His intervention.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." β James 1:5, WEB
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, they have just received news that they might not get promoted to the second year due to a failed course. We ask, Father, that You will bestow Your favor upon them and soften the hearts of the school management. Grant them wisdom and guidance in this situation, and help them to find peace in knowing that You are in control. We also pray for their mother, Lord, that she will not be disappointed but will continue to hope and trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Remember, God has a purpose and a plan for you, even in this setback. "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." β Romans 8:28, WEB
However, we also want to remind you that it is essential to communicate openly with your mother. Honesty is a biblical principle that we should uphold. "Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings," β Colossians 3:9, WEB. It's crucial to discuss your feelings and the situation with her, as she might understand more than you think.
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," β 1 Timothy 2:5, WEB. We encourage you to put your trust in Him and believe in His power to help you through this challenge. If you haven't already, consider committing your life to Jesus Christ and experiencing the fullness of His love and grace.
Stay strong in the Lord, and may His peace and guidance be with you.
