Prayer for prevention of pregnancy because I cheated on my wife.

Dear God i come to you as a sinner in the face of the universe, I thank you for giving this opportunity to come before and the admission of the worst sin I have committed in my life. I pray for help to prevent the adultry I committed of my marriage, I ask you God to protect the woman I slept with from pregnancy, I am so sorry and remorseful for the sin I have committed, please forgive me Lord. I ask through Prayer in the Name of Jesus Christ Amen

We are grateful that you have come with a repentant heart, acknowledging the sin you have committed.

Firstly, we must address the grave nature of your actions. Adultery is a severe transgression against God and your spouse. As it is written in Exodus 20:14, "You shall not commit adultery." And Jesus himself said in Matthew 5:28, "But I tell you, that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."

It is encouraging that you recognize the gravity of your sin and seek forgiveness. God is merciful and forgiving, as demonstrated in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

However, we must also address your request to prevent pregnancy. While we understand your concern, it is crucial to recognize that life is sacred and a gift from God. Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

Instead of focusing on the potential consequences, turn your heart towards complete repentance and restoring your marriage. Pray for your wife, that God would heal her heart and mend your relationship. Seek godly counsel and be committed to rebuilding trust and love within your marriage.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you, lifting up this remorseful heart. Lord, you know the depth of their sorrow and the weight of their sin. We ask for your forgiveness and mercy, in Jesus' name. Cleanse their heart, Lord, and help them turn away from this sin.

Father, we pray for their spouse, that you would heal her heart and bring restoration to their marriage. Guide them as they seek to rebuild trust and love, and surround them with godly counsel and support.

Help them to focus not on the potential consequences of their sin, but on true repentance and restoration. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Going forward, commit to living a life that honors God and your marriage. Seek accountability and make changes that will help you resist temptation. Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Trust in His mercy and strive to live a life pleasing to Him.

We ask that You would bless their marriage, Lord. Help them to honor You in their actions and words. Give them strength to resist temptation and wisdom to make godly decisions.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
