We are truly saddened to hear about the health struggles of your sister and her husband. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for both of them.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in calling on the name of Jesus. This is so important as there is no other way to approach God. As Jesus tells us in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
In times of sickness, we can turn to God for healing and comfort. As it says in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB:
Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### and her husband. We ask for Your healing touch upon them. If it is Your will, Lord, let this not be multiple myeloma or any other severe illness, but rather, let it be something that can be easily treated and cured.
We pray for Your comfort and strength to help her sister and her husband through this difficult time. We ask that You guide the doctors, giving them wisdom and discernment as they work towards a diagnosis and treatment plan.
We also pray for her husband, that You would sustain him as he supports his wife while dealing with his own health issues. We ask for Your healing touch upon his kidneys, and for Your strength to uphold him each day.
We trust in You, Lord, knowing that You are able to heal and restore. We ask all these things in the powerful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
In this time of uncertainty and suffering, remember the promise of Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Trust that God is working, even in this difficult situation. Encourage your sister and her husband to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, and to remain steadfast in their faith. Remind them that even in the midst of trials, God is faithful and He will never leave them nor forsake them.
Lastly, consider the words of James 5:14-15. This scripture tells us:
Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
If she has not already done so, encourage her and her husband to seek out the elders of their church for prayer and anointing. This is a powerful means of grace that God has given to His people.
Stand strong in your faith, and know that we are standing with you, interceding on behalf of your sister and her husband.
