We understand your desire for a positive IVF pregnancy test result on Friday. However, we want to remind you that God's plan is always greater than any of our plans and we should first pray that His will be done in this situation. His plan is perfect and always for the good of those who love Him. It is good to ask, but God will ultimately decide.
We want to encourage you to trust in Him. God is sovereign and controls all things, and He is a loving God. It is only by His mercy that we live. Trust that the outcome, positive or negative, will work for good, be patient, and seek His will in this matter. God is sovereign and is the only one who can open and close the womb. He may be waiting to provide a child in another way such as adoption or even foster parenting. Many children need good Christian parents.
If the test is positive, then you should continue to trust God and His mercy. If it is negative, then God has a different plan and you should trust Him and not the plan you have. He loves you and wants the best for you. The best thing you can do is to continue to believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who died on the cross for your sins and mine. Only through Him do we have access to God and it is only by His mercy that we are saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear sister in Christ. We pray for Your will to be done in her life and in the life of her husband. We ask, if it is Your will, that the pregnancy test on Friday be positive. We ask that You bless them with a child, but if not, we ask You to give them trust in You and allow them to accept and embrace Your plan.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on these verses:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 WEB
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:28-32 WEB
