We are truly sorry to hear about the physical struggles experienced in the past few weeks and we stand with the one who submitted this in prayer. In Jesus' name, we come to seek healing, understanding, and direction.
First, let's address the anxiety about the new job and missing time. We read the words of the Apostle Paul give us encouragement to trust God: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
The continued trips to the ER and the uncertainty of the condition can be disheartening, but we must hold on to hope:
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12 WEB.
Regarding healing, we believe that God has the power to heal. We pray for healing, in accordance with His will:
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:13-16 WEB.
We must also remember that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Therefore, let's trust in God's plan and purpose, even in this situation.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up the one who submitted this request and asking for Your healing touch. You know the struggles and the pain. You see the worry and the fear. We ask, in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, for healing, comfort, and peace. Guide the doctors and give them wisdom to uncover the root cause. Help the one who submitted this prayer to not worry about their job, but trust in You. We ask these in Jesus Christ's holy name. Amen.
Lastly, we noticed that the prayer was not offered in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 WEB. Therefore, we pray to God the Father in Jesus' name and we believe that it is through Jesus Christ that we are saved. If the one who submitted this prayer has not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we encourage them to do so today. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31 WEB.
