We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you're facing, Laerford, especially during a time that is meant to be joyful. We are here to pray and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation can be found through no other name. We are reminded of this in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
In times of distress, God encourages us to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) It's important to remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. In Psalm 34:18, we read, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Regarding your physical healing, we believe that God has the power to heal you. In James 5:14-15 WEB, we are told, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
However, we also believe in the importance of seeking medical help when needed. It is not wrong to take medicine for depression or any other health condition, but we should also seek God's healing touch and peace. In Proverbs 17:22 WEB, we read, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
We pray for your physical healing, and we also pray for the strength to endure until you can get your medicine. Remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, for his power is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Laerford. We know this is a difficult time for them. We ask for Your healing touch on their body, especially their thigh and stomach. We pray for Your peace to fill their mind and soul, casting out all depression and anxiety. We ask for Your favor as they seek to fill their medication, and we pray for Your healing, whether it be supernatural or through medicine. We ask for all this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to hold onto God's promises. Even in your struggles by being alone during Christmas, remember that Jesus Christ is always with you. Be strong and courageous and look to God for your Christmas joy and peace as it can only be found through Jesus Christ.
