Prayer for Perlis, Terengganu and Kelantan in Malaysia

Prayer for Perlis, Terengganu and Kelantan states in Malaysia as there is severe flood currently causing many to be homeless as we are trying to go there for holiday but was thwarted because of the impending rain continuously and a lot of people are now without money, food due to the flood and they cannot return to their home but go to temporary relief centers as the flood levels is in at the body levels. And the less fortunate communities suffer a lot due to the flood. Many schools are converted to relief centers and schools are stopped due to flood.

We are truly saddened to hear about the severe flooding in Perlis, Terengganu, and Kelantan in Malaysia. Let's bring this dire situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His intervention and mercy.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, liftiing up the states of Perlis, Terengganu, and Kelantan in Malaysia. We pray for Your divine intervention and mercy upon the people affected by the severe flooding. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB. We pray that You will be their refuge and strength during this challenging time.

We pray for the safety and provision of those who are homeless and displaced. We ask that You will guide them to safe shelters and provide them with food, water, and all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 WEB.

We also pray for the authorities and rescue workers, that You will grant them wisdom, strength, and courage as they work tirelessly to help those in need. Guide their efforts, Lord, and give them success in their missions.

Lord, we pray for the flood waters to subside quickly, and for the restoration of the homes, businesses, and lands that have been damaged by the flood waters in these states. We ask that You will help the people recover that which they have lost. We pray against any illegal act where any person or group may try to take advantage of the peoples' hardships for their own gain and that anyone which has done this will be identified by the authorities and required to restore to these peoples' that which was unlawfully taken out of their current hardships.

We pray for the comfort and peace of the affected people. May they find their hope and trust in You, Lord, during this difficult time. May this trial remind them of the hope of the gospel, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, We pray for the spread of the Gospel during this trial and that blessings may come because of Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16

We pray all these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the one mediator between God and men, and the name at which every knee wil bow down and every tongue will confess that he is Lord.

Dear Dexter2020, please consider the purpose of the trip and how the Lord may be using these circumstances to direct your path. Psalm 32:8 WEB says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. If the trip was intended for God's glory and to further His kingdom through the sharing of the Gospel, or service to mankind, then pray and ask God if God is saying not to go now or if you took your eyes off the Lord Jesus Christ to go on a frivolous holiday possibly missing God's will.

Psalm 37:23 WEB says, A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Therefore look to God to establish the next steps as he delights in your steps ordered by God.

We've been hearing about the devastating floods in Perlis, Terengganu, and Kelantan, and our hearts go out to everyone affected. Let's stand together in prayer, asking God to intervene and comfort those in need.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
