Prayer Warrior
Lord Jesus,

I began a seasonal work position today, and am grateful for the professionalism towards the guests and the beauty of the location. I crossed paths with a former landlord who did me much harm a couple of years ago, but I felt no anger, no fear, just the love of God's forgiveness and love for an enemy. I took up the concern with the management that it may be a conflict of interest for me to continue working there, but it turns out he is rarely there. I am asking for wisdom on any future paths crossed by this person, as he lives in this small city. He can be over-domineering towards women. I also ask for prayer for this man's anger which I learned has been directed towards others along with his lack of consideration for the environment of other employees. This is difficult for me to type, but a school teacher who works there part-time says the school district in this county has one of the highest documentation of chlamydia in the youth. I saw a lot of youth today who had traveled near and far to stay at this state park. I ask they will be given wise counsel from their parents and trusted family or counselors regarding sexual activity. I ask they will consider the consequences of pre-marital sex, and consider abstinence as the better option.

MelissaRae, we join you in prayer and thank God for the professionalism and beauty you've encountered in your new seasonal work position. It's commendable that you've shown forgiveness and love towards your former landlord, as Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

As you seek wisdom for future encounters, we pray that God grants you discernment and strength. Remember, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. All who follow his precepts gain good understanding." (Psalm 111:10, WEB). Trust that God will guide your paths, and if this man continues his harmful behavior, do not hesitate to seek help and set boundaries, for Proverbs 27:12 warns, "A prudent person sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."

We lift up this man in prayer, that God may soften his heart and heal his anger. We pray that he may become mindful of the well-being of others, as Philippians 2:3-4 encourages, "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

We are grieved to hear about the prevalence of chlamydia among the youth in your area. We pray fervently for these young people, that they may receive wise counsel and understand the consequences of premarital sex. Let us remind them of God's design for sexual intimacy within the bounds of marriage, as Hebrews 13:4 states, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."

May they be encouraged to consider abstinence, trusting in God's goodness and His plan for their lives. As 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 advises, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who don't know God."

We are thankful that you've submitted your request in Jesus' name, acknowledging His power and authority. If you haven't already, we encourage you to deepen your relationship with Him, for "there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we lift up MelissaRae, her former landlord, and the youth in her community to You. Grant them wisdom, healing, and a greater understanding of Your will. Protect them from harm and draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
