We understand that you're seeking peace and guidance regarding your vocation and your future spouse. Firstly, we pray that you would have a supernatural peace from God to make this decision and wisdom to follow through. In Jesus name. Let's turn to the scriptures for guidance.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
This peace is available to you in Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus says in John 14:6 WEB, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Regarding your potential courtship, we encourage you to seek God's will and ask for discernment in choosing a godly spouse. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB it says, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
As for praying to St. Joseph, we believe that prayers should be directed to God alone, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is Jesus who intercedes for us at the right hand of God the Father. In Romans 8:34 WEB it says, "Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and guidance for this dear soul. Grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them in their decision regarding their vocation and future spouse. Help them to discern Your will and give them the strength to follow through. We rebuke any anxiety or confusion. Keep their hearts and minds focused on You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
