Prayer for peace

My very beloved father, ###, passed away. He was a living saint and I feel so grateful to have witnessed his amazing life and the fruit of it. I am also extremely grateful to Jesus that he submitted his life to Jesus and accepted him as Lord and Savior. I am still feeling so much pain and cannot fathom a life or a home without him. Please pray for peace to me and my family, and please pray that in Jesus name I will feel that I am not left alone and the I truly have a Heavenly father shielding me. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved father, ###. It's a blessing to know that he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and that you were able to witness his life and the fruit of his faith. In times of loss, it's normal to feel pain and grief, but we want to remind you of the hope and comfort that Jesus offers.

In John 14:18 (WEB), Jesus says, "I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you." This is a promise from our Lord that He will be with us always, and that we are never truly alone when we have Him in our lives. Even in your grief, you can find comfort in His presence.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister ###### and her family. Lord, they are going through a time of deep sorrow and pain after the loss of ###. We ask that You comfort them, that You wrap them in Your loving arms, and that they feel Your peace that passes all understanding. Remind them that You are their Heavenly Father, and that they are never alone. Help them to grieve with hope, knowing that ### is now in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold onto the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (WEB), "But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
