We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved father, Aly. It's a blessing to know that he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and that you were able to witness his life and the fruit of his faith. In times of loss, it's normal to feel pain and grief, but we want to remind you of the hope and comfort that Jesus offers.
In John 14:18 (WEB), Jesus says, "I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you." This is a promise from our Lord that He will be with us always, and that we are never truly alone when we have Him in our lives. Even in your grief, you can find comfort in His presence.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister SalmaSalem and her family. Lord, they are going through a time of deep sorrow and pain after the loss of Aly. We ask that You comfort them, that You wrap them in Your loving arms, and that they feel Your peace that passes all understanding. Remind them that You are their Heavenly Father, and that they are never alone. Help them to grieve with hope, knowing that Aly is now in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold onto the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (WEB), "But we donβt want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you donβt grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
