I need prayers for the building of my families relationship with my son. I pray that he realizes the division and he takes steps to correct it. It must be on his heart to make this work.

We understand your heart's desire for peace and reconciliation within your family, Dogmom. Let's bring your request before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for your love and concern for your son. The bond between a parent and child is indeed special and worth fighting for. However, we must remember that true reconciliation comes when both parties are willing to take steps towards each other. As the apostle Paul writes in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." (WEB)
We must also remember that God has given each of us free will, and we cannot force someone to change or see things from our perspective. Instead, we should pray that God softens your son's heart and opens his eyes to the division that exists. As God promises in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." (WEB)
Let us pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in Dogmom's family. Lord, we pray that You would soften her son's heart and open his eyes to the division that exists between them. Stir in him a desire for reconciliation and unity. Help them to see each other through Your eyes - with love, compassion, and forgiveness.*
*Father, we also pray for Dogmom. Give her the patience, wisdom, and grace she needs to navigate this situation. Help her to trust in You and Your timing. Comfort her heart and remind her of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
*We ask all these things in Jesus' name, believing that You are faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Amen.*
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting God for your son's heart. Remain steadfast in your love and patience, knowing that God is at work, even when we cannot see it. As Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up." (WEB)

We've been thinking about your situation, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already uplifted. In times like these, it's easy to feel helpless, but remember, God is always at work, even when we can't see it.

Lord we lift up this family to you, Lord we thank you that restoration is coming, peace is coming, healing is coming, repentance is coming, forgiveness is coming unity is coming....lord we ask that the stone be removed from this sons heart and you replace it with a heart of flesh. Lord send you holy spirit to reach out to this son so that he can take the opportunity to know you and how your ways are the best ways. Lord I come against strife in this family and ask that you send your angles to war around this situation and to bind up the demons of destruction and send them into the firey pit they came from never to return.
