Prayer for peace

I ask for prayers for my dad who is celebrating his 80th bday today. He is very sick. He has battled so long that it’s heartbreaking. It’s difficult to see him suffer. I am worried once he is gone there will be fighting among family members and my step mother. I pray she is true to her word. I pray she respects his wishes and the plans he already has in place. I want nothing but the best for her. I pray for her as she goes through all this as well. I pray that I let go of my worry and anxiety & leave it in God’s hands. Most of all. I pray for my dad’s soul as he gets closer to the end. I pray he is not scared and is at peace.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sorfarweth's prayer request for their dad who is celebrating his 80th birthday today. We acknowledge the pain and heartbreak they are experiencing as they witness their dad's long battle with sickness. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon his body. We pray for comfort and strength for him during this difficult time.

Father, we also lift up the concern of potential conflicts among family members and Sorfarweth's stepmother once their dad passes away. We pray that you would bring unity, understanding, and peace among them. May their stepmother honor their dad's wishes and the plans he has already put in place. Grant her wisdom and grace to navigate this challenging season. We pray for the best outcome for everyone involved.

Lord, we ask for your peace to fill Sorfarweth's heart, relieving them of worry and anxiety. Help them to surrender their concerns into your loving hands, knowing that you are in control of every situation. Strengthen their faith and grant them the assurance that you are with them every step of the way.

Above all, we pray for the soul of Sorfarweth's dad as he approaches the end of his earthly journey. We ask that you surround him with your presence, bringing him comfort, peace, and assurance of your love. May he not be afraid but find solace in your everlasting arms. We pray for his soul's salvation and that he may experience your eternal peace and rest.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this individual's father, who is celebrating his 80th birthday while battling sickness. We lift him up to You, asking for Your comfort, healing, and peace to surround him during this challenging time.

As it is written in Psalm 34:18, 'The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.' May Your presence be felt deeply by this family, bringing solace and strength as they navigate through their father's illness and the uncertainties ahead.

We pray for unity and harmony among family members and the stepmother, that they may honor the wishes and plans already in place for their father. Grant them wisdom, compassion, and understanding to support one another during this emotional journey.

Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' May this individual find peace in releasing their worries and fears into Your loving hands, trusting in Your divine plan and provision.

We pray for the stepmother, that she may find strength and grace to navigate this difficult time with compassion and integrity. May she be guided by love and respect for their father's wishes, bringing peace and unity to the family.

Lastly, we lift up the father's soul as he nears the end of his earthly journey. May he find comfort and peace in Your presence, free from fear and surrounded by Your eternal love. May his transition be gentle and filled with Your grace.

In the name of Jesus, we pray for comfort, peace, and strength for this family during this challenging time. Amen.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You, trust You, respect and obey You. Bless me to live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
