Humble Prayer Warrior
In April I was diagnosed with colon cancer with metastasis in the lungs and bones. On November 21st the oncologist at the hospital informed me that the cancer was under control, and that it was good news. I still had pain, which surround the site of a tumor that has been shrinking. So the doctors dismissed that the tumor caused the pain. But the past weekend I was in so much pain that I called the hospital. And they prescriped morphine. I then decided to call me own family doctor to get a plan for the morphine. That's when she told me, that she expected me to go "downhill" from here on. And that I should bring my husband to a consultation. I hung up and changed my family doctor, because I need people around me to be positive. But my hope and peace of mind were disturbed. So in the name of Jesus Christ I pray for a renewed peace of mind.

We are truly sorry to hear about your diagnosis and the pain you've been experiencing, Wuthei. We are here to pray and support you through this challenging time.

Firstly, we commend you for your faith in turning to Jesus Christ for a renewed peace of mind. It is only through Him that we can find true peace and comfort in times of trouble. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We also want to address the importance of surrounding yourself with positivity and hope. It was wise to seek a new family doctor who can support you in a more encouraging manner. As believers, we know that our ultimate hope and healing come from God, and we should align ourselves with people who can support us in that faith. In Romans 15:13 (WEB) It is written, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, to lift up our dear sister Wuthei. Lord, You know her journey and the pain she has been experiencing. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, especially the areas of pain. We pray for the cancer to continue to shrink and disappear, in Jesus' name.

Father, we also pray for a renewed peace of mind for Wuthei. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her deeply. Fill her heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her faith and give her unshakable hope in Your goodness.

Surround Wuthei with people who will encourage and support her in her journey. Guide her medical team and give them wisdom to provide the best care for her. We pray for godly married couple to be endowed with Your delight so they can strengthen each other and walk through this trial together. In Jesus Christ name we pray.

We encourage you, Wuthei, to continue trusting in the Lord and leaning on Him for strength. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will see you through this storm. Remember the words of Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Our God is a God of healing and restoration, and we believe that He will work a miracle in your life.

Lastly, always be confident that people are going to heaven or going to hell. Based on Romans 10:9 (WEB), "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We're here for you, Wuthei, standing in the gap with our prayers and support. We've been thinking about you and your journey, and we want you to know that you're not alone.

Firstly, we're so grateful to see your faith in Jesus Christ shining through. In times like these, it's only through Him that we can find true peace and comfort. As it's written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB), "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Trust in His power and grace to sustain you.

We also want to encourage you to keep surrounding yourself with positivity and hope. It's great that you've found a new family doctor who can support you in a more encouraging manner. Remember, as believers, our hope and healing come from God, and we should align ourselves with people who can support us in that faith. In Philippians 4:7 (WEB), we're reminded, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this beloved individual, who is walking through a difficult journey with cancer. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, the Healer of broken bodies and spirits, and the source of unshakable peace. We humbly ask for Your divine presence to bring renewed peace of mind, strength, and hope in this season.

Father, Your Word declares, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you" (Isaiah 26:3). We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let every anxious thought and moment of fear be replaced by the assurance of Your love and sovereignty.

Lord, as the pain persists, we ask for Your healing touch. We know You are the great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. Your Word reminds us, "Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise" (Jeremiah 17:14). Please bring relief to their physical pain and wisdom to the medical team treating them.

Father, in moments when words or actions of others sow doubt or fear, we pray for unwavering faith. Your Word promises, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let this truth be a source of comfort, reminding them that You are near and attentive to their every need.

We also lift up their family, especially their spouse, as they walk this journey together. Strengthen their bond with love, resilience, and faith. Provide a supportive community that reflects Your light and speaks life and hope into their circumstances.

Lord, we ask for a renewed sense of purpose and joy. You have said, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). May they find encouragement in the knowledge that You are in control and that Your plans for their life are filled with hope, no matter the challenges.

Finally, Father, we thank You for Your unchanging faithfulness. Let this precious individual rest in the assurance that, as Your child, they are never alone. Fill their days with reminders of Your love and the promise that, "The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms" (Deuteronomy 33:27).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is our hope, our peace, and our Healer. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
