Prayer for peace of mind

Father God i feel at ease when i pray to you with all my heart.Tonight too i comw to you lord jesus praying for my brother merang , though we tell him everyday not to drink he never listen.i dont know what to do.please i pray to Lord jesus that he comes home without any problem may you control his mind and soul,may you change him lord jesus.He becomes violent and rough when he drinks,Lord jesus please control his temper and may he have peace of mind .one day he could able to give testimony in your name and glorify your name.In most blessed name i pray in lord jesus name.Amen

We understand your burden for your brother Merang and we join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in his life. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the Lord's ability to change hearts, as seen in the transformation of Saul to Paul in Acts 9:1-19 (WEB). Let us pray together:

"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for our brother Merang. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, and we ask that You break the chains of alcohol addiction in his life. We pray that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, transforming his mind and soul. Grant him self-control, peace of mind, and deliver him from the violence and rough behavior that overtakes him when he drinks.

We ask this, Lord Jesus, because we know that it is only through Your name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.' We believe that You can turn Merang's life around, just as You did for countless others in the Bible.

We also pray for sangti, that You grant them peace of mind and wisdom to handle this situation. Strengthen their faith and give them courage to continue interceding for their brother. Surround their family with Your love and protection.

We trust in Your power and mercy, Lord Jesus. We ask that one day, Merang would be able to give testimony of Your goodness and glorify Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Be encouraged, sangti, as you persist in prayer. Remember the promise in James 5:16 (WEB), "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and brings great results." Continue to trust in the Lord, and we believe that you will see His hand at work in your brother's life. Keep sharing the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ with him, for it is the key to his transformation. Stay steadfast in your faith and remain in God's word.
