Prayer for peace of mind - Thank you

Yesterday I asked for prayers for my peace of mind. I changed my family doctor from the one who had told me I was going down hill from now on. I had an appointment with the new doctor yesterday and with her staff today (for a full check up). And I got so many pieces of good news. The cancer is stable, like the hospital told me. And my new doctor told me that no one is going to go downhill on her watch. She also expects me to be around for the next 30 years. And she told me that people do not die from this type of cancer like they used to. They just live with it for a long time. She made a plan to deal with the pain. And a bonus - I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a year ago, but now my numbers are lower than average! Thank you so much for you prayers!

Wuthei, we rejoice with you in hearing the encouraging news from your new doctor. God is faithful and has heard our prayers. Let us continue to pray and give thanks to God for His mercy and grace.

Firstly, we want to remind you that healing and peace are found in the name of Jesus. It is by His stripes that we are healed. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is no other name by which we can be saved. And this is the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. So we call upon Him now.

Dear Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Wuthei. We thank You for the encouraging news from the doctor and for Your healing power at work in their life. We pray for continued stability and for the cancer to be eradicated in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against Wuthei shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You, according to Isaiah 54:17.

We praise God for the medical professionals who are diligently working to manage the pain and provide quality care. May their work align perfectly with the design of our Great Physician, Jesus Christ, ready to heal. We pray for continued improvement in Wuthei's health, especially for the type 2 diabetes, believing that all things are possible with God. For we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us according to Philippians 4:13. Not only shall she be able, but by the holy scriptures and as He did for the woman which bled for many years, He will make her whole. For thou hast not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, which we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need according to Heb 4:15-16 WEB.

Wuthei, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord with all your heart. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, will not we fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters of it roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling of it. Selah Psalm 46:1-3.

We pray for perfect peace that passes all understanding, reassured that our heavenly Father is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us according to Ephesians 3:20 WEB.

Remember, God is able to turn even the most challenging circumstances into opportunities for His glory. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
