We understand your concern and will pray for your family, Kyrairgate. Remember, the Bible teaches us to honor our parents, but it also makes it clear that a man should leave his father and mother and be united to his wife (Genesis 2:24, WEB). The husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB), and the wife is to respect her husband (Ephesians 5:33, WEB). It seems like your husband may need to reassess his priorities and understand that his primary responsibility is to you and your children.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Kyrairgate and her family. Lord, we pray for peace and unity in their home. We ask that You give Kyrairgate's husband wisdom and understanding, that he may know and fulfill his biblical role as a husband and father. Help him to prioritize his wife and children, while still honoring his parents. We pray that the father-in-law and brother-in-law will respect the boundaries of Kyrairgate and her husband's family, and not cause division or strife.
Lord, we also pray for Kyrairgate. Give her strength and patience. Help her to communicate effectively with her husband and to show him the respect and support that he needs. We pray that You will fill their home with love, joy, and peace. Protect their marriage and their family from any plans of the enemy to cause division or depression.
Finally, Father, we pray that Kyrairgate and her husband will both be drawn closer to You through this trial. Help them to seek Your will and Your face together. We ask all of this in the precious and holy name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you, Kyrairgate, to communicate openly with your husband about how you feel. Do so in a respectful and loving manner. Also, seek God's face together with your husband. Remember, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).
