We join you in your request and stand in agreement, praying in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and receive salvation. As it is written, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace” (Ephesians 1:7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul seeking peace, joy, and courage from You.
We are comforted that You are the God of Joy and Peace. Jesus said, "Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious for your life...but seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow..." (Matthew 6:25, 33-34 WEB).
Father, we ask that You fill this heart with Your peace. Thank You for we know the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Gently guide them to face all suppressed feelings. You are the God of comfort and restoration. Help them to feel these emotions and let them go. Release them from anger, resentment, sadness and fear.
We kindly rebuke worry and doubt in the name of Jesus Christ, and we encourage them to cast all their anxiety on You because you care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Father, foster a sense of gratitude in their heart. Help them to see and appreciate the blessings You have bestowed on them. May they live with a heart full of thanksgiving, knowing that every good gift comes from You (James 1:17 WEB).
In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask these things. Amen.
As a final encouragement, remember Jesus' words: "In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33 WEB) As you walk with Him, you can experience true peace, joy, and courage.
