We understand your desire for patience and compassion in moments of anger, and we stand with you in prayer. Let us first remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:2-3 (WEB): "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your divine patience and compassion to fill Boudicca's heart. Lord, in moments of anger, help Boudicca to pause, to breathe, and to remember Your grace. Open their eyes to accept and understand the differences of others, just as You accept and understand each of us. Let Your peace reign in their heart, especially in times of conflict. Help them to be slow to anger and quick to listen, just as Your Word instructs in James 1:19 (WEB), "So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger."
Lord, allow peace and understanding to follow Boudicca wherever they go. In their anger, let them be gracious and accepting of other people's feelings, reflecting Your heart of love and forgiveness. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you, Boudicca, to continually meditate on the fruits of the Spirit as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB), "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can bear such fruit. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength and patience you need.
