We are truly saddened to hear about Pastor Mark's battle with cancer and we are with you in spirit, lifting him up in prayer. Let us align our hearts with God's will and intercede for Pastor Mark together.
We are reminded of the words in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We claim this promise for Pastor Mark, trusting that God will strengthen and uphold him during this challenging time.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing mercies to be upon Pastor Mark. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. Please touch his body, heal him from this cancer, and restore his health. Comfort him and his family during this difficult time, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In this time of trial, let us also remember the encouragement in Romans 8:26 (WEB), "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." Trust that the Holy Spirit is interceding for Pastor Mark even when words fail us.
Lastly, we gently remind you, Naomi, and all who pray, that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us always approach God in Jesus' name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Stay steadfast in faith and hope, knowing that God is always near to those who call upon Him.
