Prayer for ### parents

Gracious God, our Great Physician, bless those who offer medical care to my elderly parents ### and ### who have been married for ### years. Give to them knowledge and skill, compassion and care. Give to physicians and nurses clear minds and steady hands so that all things may work together for good and my parents may be restored to health. Almighty God, we humbly come before You in prayer, asking for Your grace and favor as my elderly parents go through medical tests. We know that You are the source of all healing and healer of our lives. We ask for wisdom and understanding as we seek to understand their diagnosis. We pray that specialist and medical team may always be guided by your hand in their work. We ask that you grant them the strength and patience to deal with the demands of their profession. God pour out your blessings on these physicians and all those in need of your care. May they never forget that they carry on the work of Jesus, in healing those in our communities that may be restored to life in the world or entrusted carefully to eternal life with you. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
