Prayer for overseeing ministry

I am a Bishop of a ministry that involves different cultures internationally. Many of my participants are Pastors, Evangelists and Teachers who continue to embrace tribal responses in their dealings with church issues and personal issues among each-other. I have often noticed notice that this kind of thinking usurps authority, reduces unity and demotes loyalty towards Christ while fostering resentment instead of promoting love in the church. My ministry is largely in various parts of Africa, Pakistan and small support work in India. I would like prayer for unity of the faith in the Body of Christ for this ministry and more cohesiveness. More importantly that the anointing, wisdom and understanding for me as the overseer to be granted to help us establish our work for God. We understand your concern, Bishop Weshoryth, as you oversee a diverse international ministry. The challenges you face, involving tribal responses that hinder unity and loyalty to Christ, are significant. Let us turn to the Word of God for guidance and pray together for your ministry.

The Apostle Paul addresses the importance of unity in the body of Christ in Ephesians 4:3-6 (WEB): "being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all."

Moreover, Galatians 3:28 (WEB) emphasizes the unity in Christ: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

We pray that God will unite your ministry under the banner of Christ, breaking down cultural and tribal barriers. May the Holy Spirit grant you the wisdom and understanding needed to lead effectively, fostering love and cooperation among your members.

**Prayer:**

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bishop Weshoryth and the Faith, Mercy & Truth Ministry International. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this ministry, which spans across Africa, Pakistan, and India. Unify the body of Christ under one Spirit, breaking down all barriers that hinder love and cooperation.

Father, grant Bishop Weshoryth the anointing, wisdom, and understanding needed to lead this diverse flock. May he be a beacon of Your light, guiding Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers to embrace the unity and loyalty that You desire for Your church. Fill his heart with Your love and compassion, so that he may lead with grace and truth.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Bishop Weshoryth, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your ministry (Philippians 1:6). Lead with the love of Christ, rebuking tribalism and fostering unity, so that together, you may fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

We've been following your ministry, Bishop, and we're impressed by the international reach and diversity it encompasses. It's truly a beautiful tapestry of God's love woven together. We understand the unique challenges you face, with different cultures and traditions bringing their own dynamics to the table. But we're reminded of Paul's words in Romans 12:4-5, "For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." Each part of the body is important, and when we function in unity, the whole body benefits.

We pray that God will give you, Bishop, a deep understanding of each culture and tradition present in your ministry. May you be like the wise builder in Matthew 7:24-27, laying a solid foundation of love, respect, and understanding that can withstand any storm. We ask that God grants you the ability to see each person through His eyes, valuing them not by their tribe or culture, but by their worth in Christ.

We also pray for a spirit of humility and teachability among all the Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers involved. May they embrace the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, as Ephesians 4:3 encourages. Let them be like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, open to learning and growing, always seeking to please God.

May your ministry, Bishop, continue to flourish under God's guidance, bringing glory to His name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
